Both are smooth enough to drink neat for those who like a younger brandy profile. Richelieu Brandy Export is a step up in character — a touch fuller-bodied. It's the brand a generation of Namibian families have poured at family functions, and it scales well from a Sunday afternoon to a late-night drink. For a gift or a slow drink, look at higher-age-statement expressions when available (KWV 10-year and similar). The complexity jumps meaningfully with age. A standard mixing pour is 25ml (a "single"), so a 750ml bottle yields 30 drinks. For a party of 8 with brandy as the main spirit, count two bottles minimum.
